Who says Camilleri says – very often – Montalbano.
I say not only Montalbano, but much more.
“La concessione del telefono” is one of those “historical” novels that fascinate and make you smile: so many misunderstandings, grotesque characters, mafia, hilarity and obviously a great style author.
To this novel I combine a Sicilian white wine: a Leone d’Almerita – Terre Siciliane IGT, result of a successful assembly of white Catarratto, Pinot blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Traminer.
I am fond of this Sicilian wine because it was one of my favorite wines of many many aperitifs in Italy with my friends in Turin: and when I think about it, I get smiling, just as when I am reading Camilleri’s books
