We are talking about a white wine among my favorites: the vine is the Grüner Veltliner, the region is Kremstal, the country is Austria. Yes, indeed, Austria, among the most unknown countries in the wine sector that in the last decades has demonstrated to be capable to produce wines of highest level.
And this is an example: I am talking about a white wine with an elegant and delicately fruity aroma, intense with a slight hint of lemon, a freshness balanced by a dry and soft perception.
And this land that knows only the water coming from the river that crosses it, the Danube, offers a delightful wine that I paired with crustaceans that come from an enchanting island in front of Africa: the Madagascar shrimps. Giant, exquisite shrimps of highest quality that combine elegantly with this Austrian product.
Europe & Africa, mountains and sea: a unique and unforgettable wedding.
