Have you already heard about Auxerrois? This is a white grape which grows mainly in Alsace and it adapts very well to cold climates. Recent DNA studies suggest that it is a cross of Pinot × Gouais Blanc. This Auxerrois is from Geneva produced by a winery I really love, Pellegrin Domaine de Grand’Cour.
Pale straw yellow color with silver reflections, it stands out for its scent of lime and white apple, with an exhilarating freshness. I discovered it during an event promoted by the winery in Geneva in a perfect aperitif context. Try it!
