“Paddy Clark ha ha ha” is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read: this book shows you the world with the same eyes as the protagonist, a 10 year old Irish boy in the Dublin suburbs of the sixties. Paddy surely remind us when we were 10-year-olds (well, I’m talking about my generation…), Paddy with his gang of friends and his little brother always behind him, who loves lighting fires, who suffers when he hears his parents arguing, who is joking , who is fighting with other children, who is having fun.
I can only combine this effervescence with a lively Settefilari Lambrusco from Tenuta di Aljano. A pink foam and an intense scent of plum and ripe cherry, a certain freshness and also a slight tannicity characterize this Lambrusco which is the result of seven grapes harvested, processed and fermented together in steel vats with a subsequent second fermentation according to the Charmat method.
An excellent sparkling wine associated with a sparkling story. Ha ha ha.
