This is the fourth of the series of books written by Alessandro Robecchi which features the Milanese Carlo Monterossi, TV writer of a garbage program that, willingly or not, is always implicated in police investigations. I fell in love with these novels starting from the first, spectacular, “Questa non é una canzone d’amore”, but I must say that every novel has made its mark. In particular in “Torto marcio” the usual humor emerges, but with a bit more bitter than the previous ones.

And to Carlo Monterossi, who is part of the glittering city of Milan, who lives in a fabulous apartment, who loves Bob Dylan and aged whiskey, I would give an Italian “champagne” coming from Lombardia region like him: a DOCG Franciacorta Ferghettina Saten brut . This Franciacorta composed of 100% Chardonnay grapes, thanks to the Saten type, has a very fine perlage and being endowed with a pressure slightly lower than the champagne standard, it shows a softness and creaminess of a sublime elegance. And the square-based bottle makes it even more fascinating.
I’m sure Carlo would appreciate it.
