This book is part of the series of BarLume novels, stories of pure entertainment that intrigue and make you smile thinking of its protagonists, the assiduous old-time bar visitors led by the barman-investigator Massimo, who has in common with me (and with the author) a chemical background.
To this novel, as to the whole series, I could dare to combine a Tuscan Vermentino or an Ansonica of Elba, but fering to offend Ampelio or Aldo (who also owns a restaurant), I’m sure to take no risk about combining a DOCG Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, particularly a Terre di San Venanzio “Fortunato”: alive, sparkling, balanced in its contribution of aromas of white peach and apple and freshness. A beautiful combination of flavors and joy.
